Smartlinks, insights and your account.
Who can use Trackstream?
Trackstream is open to artists and labels. Create an individual account with your email address and password, then confirm your email to activate it.
Which Smartlink types can I create?
Track links bring listening destinations together for a recording. Playlist links let you import a Spotify playlist and highlight a featured track. Artist links collect music profiles, social channels and a website. Pre-release pages introduce an upcoming release with a countdown and audio preview.
How do I create a track link?
Look up your recording by ISRC, review the returned music platform links and add your artwork. You can also include an optional video.
What does a playlist link include?
You can import Spotify playlist metadata and artwork, add other platform destinations and select a featured track.
Is a pre-release page a pre-save?
No. A pre-release page is a teaser with a release date, countdown and an optional audio preview. It does not save a release to a listener’s music library.
What will my public link look like?
Your links use app.trackstream.link/your-name/your-link. Choose Artist or Label and your URL name during account setup. Artist accounts use the song title for new track links; label accounts use the song title followed by the artist.
What can I see in Analytics?
Review Smartlink views, sessions and outgoing music platform clicks. Filter by date and Smartlink, compare platforms and explore countries and traffic sources for an individual link.
Does a platform click count as a stream?
No. A click records a visitor following a link to a music platform. It does not confirm that the visitor played the music. Page views, sessions, outgoing clicks and streams are different measurements.
Can I edit my links?
Yes. Your customer workspace lets you create, find, edit and delete your own Smartlinks, and review their analytics.
Do standard pages include Trackstream branding?
Yes. Standard Smartlink pages include the Trackstream logo.
Are Meta campaign tools available?
Not currently in the customer account. Meta campaign tools are planned as a future option.
Can I remove the Trackstream logo?
A branding upgrade without the Trackstream logo is planned. Availability and pricing have not yet been confirmed.
How do I reset my password?
Use “Forgot password?” on the login page to request a reset email. If you still need to confirm your email address, use “Resend confirmation” on the registration page.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open My account, enter your password under “Delete account” and confirm. Your account, Smartlinks and analytics are deleted, and uploaded media is removed automatically. No separate email request is needed. Deletion cannot be undone.
